Steve from Asheville, NC. Wrote: Abingdon is a good drive from Asheville. We bring our bicycles and ride the Creeper Trail. We've been doing that for years. We usually stay at one of the motels in town and eat fast food and the trip isn't so expensive. We can then visit every few months.
