Directions

Located on the Grounds of the Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center. From I-81 North, use Exit 19, turn left onto Highway 11 towards Abingdon OR From I-81, use Exit 19, turn right onto Highway 11 towards Abingdon, THEN approximately 1.5 miles turn right at 2 signal light onto Thompson Drive, go through first light up the hill turn right onto Stanley Street, follow the road around and the Recreation Center will be on your right.

Playground Equipment

This is a large Multi Unit Wooden Play Structure. There are slides, swings, climbing structure, bridges and many other exciting pieces for the youth to enjoy.

Picnic Facilities

There is a large picnic shelter with 5 tables on a concrete pad. There is also additional picnic tables located on the grounds. There are 4 additional concrete pads with tables located in a wooded area on the grounds.
