Historic Abingdon's Most Unique Bed and Breakfast

Black's Fort Inn is our home that we have exclusively designed for privacy, relaxation and convenience. The setting is perfect! We are located on a little over 9 acres and look as though we are out in the country with mountains and hills surrounding us but we are less than five minutes from the Barter Theatre, shopping areas, local attractions, and some of the best restaurants in the country. We have the best of both worlds here. Our Inn is decorated with beautiful antiques originally purchased in the 1940's. Some of our rooms having been decorated with the French Country style and some rooms are decorated with Victorian style. Detail to us means everything! We furnish soft luxurious bath towels and very comfortable beds, cookies or other welcoming goodies and a fabulous made from scratch breakfast that leaves everybody talking. Most importantly, private porches await you for your rest and relaxation. Wild foul abounds in our pond. The view of pond and our waterfall is superb. The soothing sound is even more relaxing. Our creek meanders through the farm with the sound of a babbling brook. Peace and quite! So bring a book or just come sit down on one of our rocking chairs or lay back on our glider on the porch and take a well deserved nap and enjoy yourself! You will be glad you did.
