Required Inspections

Temporary Electrical Service Inspection will be required after:

  1. The pole is set and stabilized.
  2. The meterbase and disconnect are installed and grounding electrode system is complete.
  3. The GFCI receptacle is in place.
  4. Prior to electrical connection.

Footing Inspections will be required after:

  1. The trenches are dug or forming material is in place.
  2. The footing thickness  (grade pegs) is established.
  3. The rebar, if required, is in place.
  4. Prior to concrete placement.

Foundation Inspections will be required after:

  1. The foundation wall is complete.
  2. Rebar placement and grouting, if required, are complete.
  3. Backfill height is established.
  4. The waterproofing or dampproofing system is in place.
  5. The foundation drainage system is complete.
  6. Prior to backfilling.

A concrete placement inspection is required after:

  1. Floor slab preparatory work is complete (sub grade preparation, moisture barrierer, slab thickness established and re-enforcement material placement).
  2. Wall and beam preparatory work is complete (formwork and re-enforcement material is in place).

A concealment inspection is required after:

  1. Structural framework is complete.  
  2. Electrical rough-in is complete.
  3. Plumbing rough-in is complete.
  4. Mechanical rough -in is complete.
  5. Engergy conservation material is in place.
  6. Prior to any wall coverings being applied.

An electrical service inspection is required after:

  1. Service equipment is in place and service wiring terminated.
  2. Grounding electrode system is in place.
  3. At least one GFCI protected recepatacle is available for work personnel.
  4. Service equipment covers available to be installed after inspection.
  5. Roof covering is provided.
  6. Prior to utility connection
