Please be aware that the trail WILL BE CLOSED between Whitetop and Green Cove BEGINNING MONDAY JUNE 7 for the expected 2 to 3 weeks that the tread surface contract will be underway. The treadwork is also being done via funding through the Recovery Act. Shuttles will take riders to Green Cove, and they will only miss three miles of the trail. Whitetop Station itself will remain open as an information point.
