- Sinking Springs Cemetery, 10am Washington County Essay winners will read their essays, trolleys will transport people to the Washington County Courthouse, gentleman on horseback will deliver portions of the Declaration of Independence, the bell (has not been rung in almost 60 years) will ring 13 times with local church bells joining in, light refreshments will be served and trolleys will return to the cemetery.
